Travel program is a competitive program for players who are ready to make a commitment to soccer. Travel players should be ready to commit to two practices per week during the season, and one (indoor) practice per week during the winter. Travel players will represent Quincy in the South Shore Soccer League, competing against top players from other towns in our area. The Colonial Travel program has separate Spring and Fall season, with separate team selection for each season. The Fall season is really a developmental program (no standings and no playoffs), while the Spring season is more competitive.

For more information about the Quincy Youth Soccer Colonials travel program please contact Dana A. Santilli Vice President of Travel at:

                        QYS Travel Program

Quincy Youth Soccer, in an effort to embrace our historical and patriotic roots as the City of Presidents, has decided to rename and redesign the logo for the travel program.  The name has changed from the Quincy Spartans to the Quincy Youth Soccer Colonials and our new logo is shown above.

In addition to the new name and logo change, the players will sport new uniforms that will be colored as follows: White jersey, Blue shorts, and Red socks.

All players are expected to attend at least one of the tryouts.  Attending both would be best to allow the evaluators ample time for a proper assessment.

Any player not able to attend either tryout MUST send a letter to the Vice President of Travel, Dana A. Santilli at qystravel@quincyyouthsoccer.com prior to the second tryout for their age group.  The Quincy Youth Soccer board will then discuss the players eligibility for consideration for the travel program.

If the above mentioned letter is not received prior to the second tryout the player will not be considered for placement on a travel team.

All players will be placed on the appropriate team based on their skill level.
